Description
Triumph Motorcycles America, Ltd. is recalling certain 2026 Trident 800 motorcycles. During pre-delivery inspection (PDI), the diagnostic tool may have loaded an incorrect headlight low beam configuration, causing the low beams to illuminate improperly. As such, these motorcycles do not comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Issue
Insufficient illumination from the headlight low beam can reduce rider visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action
Dealers will update the diagnostic software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 11, 2026. Owners may contact Triumph customer service at 1-678-854-2010. Triumph's number for this recall is SRAN 643. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on April 1, 2026.
