Description
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain Ford Mustang superchargers with part number M-6066-M8800, that were sold as aftermarket accessory kits for 2024-2025 Mustang vehicles. The powertrain control module (PCM) may experience a software error and disable functional safety features. Deactivated safety features can fail to prevent unintended acceleration or unintended vehicle movement.

Corrective Action
Dealers will update the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) software, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed December 4, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated March 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25SA7.
